She had a great track season.

Jasleen Sidhu for sure. Evie Marheineke and Kylie Hoornaert. Both sophomores ran 18:17 for Woodward Park at Clovis Invite last year and also have sub-18 PRs at Crystal Springs. Very impressive track resumes for all 3 as well.

Another one to watch from BCL: Malcolm Oakes of Convent/Stuart Hall. He went 9:06 in the 3200 at NCS Meet of Champions. He finished 0.13 seconds behind Daegan Cutter, 0.81 seconds behind Sean Morello. Also has a 4:18 1600.

I love it!!!!!Cross Country talk on June 2...can't wait for what will be a great season, and off the top of my head I'd say look out for (on the boys' side) Buchanan, Clovis East, Yosemite, Oakdale, Davis, Lincoln Stockton, Jesuit (because it's my alma mater), Granada, Pleasant Valley, Oakland Tech, Lowell, Crystal Springs (so, that's 7 sections with the Central) and on the Girls' side I'd say Los Altos, St. Francis-Mt. View, Palo Alto, Buchanan, Tulare Western, Clovis North, Campolindo, Granada, Monte Vista, Chico, Yreka, Skyline and Oakland Tech, Whitney, and Lowell and George Washington, going by sections!!!

For CCS Boys, obviously Morgenfield. The dude apparently plays a mean tuba too. 8:49 lungs. Dalziel and Iyer will be there at the top of D2 and 3 for CCS and CIF. There are almost too many others to name in the class of 2025 in addition to the 4 already on the list. Has there been a more decorated class in CCS history through 2 seasons? There were 12 CCS sophomores total at 4:20.74 or better. Add in another 9:21, 9:32, and 1:52 for good measure. The CCS class of 2025 should be incredibly well represented at CIF in the next 2 seasons.

Ashlin Mallon will be at Maria Carrillo this season as a freshman. She recently did a 4:57.1 full mile at an All-Comers meet and on the 4th of July in super hot weather won a 3k in 11:53 with 12 year old sister Siena in 4th at 12:31 and mom Julia "Stamps" Mallon 4th 12:38.
