Cal All-Comers Highlights

From yesterday's Cal All-Comers meet at Cal Berkeley. Despite the sporadic rain, only one event was cancelled and that was the Pole Vault. You can find all results at this link:

The athletes and teams that finished in the following places automatically qualified for the CA Indoor State Meet

• top three (3) overall places in each individual running event

• top three (3) overall places in each relay event

• top two (2) overall places in each field event

Among the many highlights:
Sonoma Academy freshman Rylee Bowen ran 5:00.35 in 1600 (CA State Leader)
St. Mary's Berkeley senior Chloe Jenkins edges Gunn's Maya Miklos in 550m 1:25.89 to 1:25.93
James Logan runner Cristian Monsalud wins 800m. in 1:57.79
St. Francis, Mt. View's Natalie Drucker wins 800s. in 2:15.30
College Prep's Alex Glavin top high school 3200m. runner in 9:41.54
Menlo School freshmen Robert Miranda makes season debut in 3200m. 9:48.34
Mt. Pleasant's Marius Carbin jumps lifetime best mark of 6'9"
Mt. Pleasant's Kurt Felicitas double victories in LJ and TJ in 23'1.5" and 45'11.75" respectively
Castro Valley's Kennedy Jones also double victories in LJ and TJ in 17'11.75" and 38'3.75"

Also at University of Washington Invite, Valley Christian SJ junior, Elena Bruckner, throws state leading 47'7.75" in shot put.
