In 1964, Billy Mills won the 10000m with his fantastic finish. At the same Olympics, American Bob Schul won the 5000m. with a similar finish. Fellow American Bill Dellinger (who would gain more fame as the Oregon University coach) finished in 3rd place edging out Michel Jazy of France at the line. Here are the final 3 laps.
