Cal Berkeley distance carnival 4/24

Hi Everyone-

For anyone interested in watching a GREAT distance meet this weekend,
Cal Berkeley will be hosting the inaugural New York Road Runners
Distance Carnival on Friday April 24th. Sixteen Olympians, including
2008 U.S. Olympic Trials 1500-meter champion Shannon Rowbury, two-time
Olympic steeplechaser Anthony Famiglietti, and 2008 U.S. 10,000-meter
Olympian Jorge Torres will be racing.

Official race schedule is on the website and ticket are $8 dollars
(cheaper than a movie!) but here are a few highlights:

6pm elite men's 3k steeple
6:26 elite women's 3k steeple
8:28 elite women's 5k (with Shannon)
8:46 elite men's 5k
9:02 10k women
9:39 10k men
