Where is the Girls 2000 & 3000 Steeple?

I added both events to the list. I have Rylee's time from last year which might be the record. I know West Valley used to have a steeplechase at their invitational. I will go back and check to see if the event was also 2000 meters and if any girl ran faster than Rylee.

Does anybody have any information on the 3000 steeplechase and/or any times?

2000 Steeple 7:11.79 Jessie Petersen (Jr) Carlmont 2010 AAU JO's (1st)
3000 Steeple 10:53.69 Jessie Petersen Carlmont 2011 SF State Carnival (2nd)

CCS records

WV Relays had a mile steeple at first but then they switched to a 2000 (I think) until the event was outlawed for HS competition (don't remember the year but it was pre-2008).

These records should be post under an "other" category after the main events. 1500, 3000, steeple, SMR, 4x800, etc. are events rarely competed in. It's cool to keep track but should be after the normal contested events.

I mean throw in co-Ed relays, softball toss too. Not to mention javelin and hammer throw. At least the last two are Olympic events.

Fair enough. I made the change.

Hank said...

Since you made the change are you going to add the softball throw?

Sure and the turbo javelin...:D

Minor correction, but Nate Esparza's shot put mark last year was 69 feet, 4.75 inches.
