In the small school varsity girls' race in the morning, Sonoma Academy junior Josie Hill made her season debut after transferring from Technology. She shadowed Las Lomas sophomore Ella Malick and UCLA commit Ava Decleve of Scotts Valley before pulling away for the win after Cougar Hill. Her winning time of 13:35 (2:25 faster than last year) ties her for the third fastest time on the course with Vanessa Fraser on the course, with only Ashlyn Boothby (13:25) and Anna Maxwell (13:31) with faster times. Northgate continued their undefeated season with an easy victory led by 5th place finisher, Olivia Joseph. In the boys' varsity race, Nueva senior Ryan Fitzpatrick led from the gun and ran the 2nd fastest time on the course with his 11:32 victory. That time trails only Eli Fitchen Young's 11:23. The Northgate boys made it a clean sweep of the varsity races with a narrow win over one of the top Division IV teams in CCS, Mills.
In the afternoon, large school races, Castro Valley Iliana Nierengarten won with a time of 14:29. Castro Valley was also the team winner in a rather depleted field with only three complete teams. Woodside sophomore Kiefer Schultz won the boys' varsity individual race with a time of 12:14. That was the fourth fastest time overall, trailing three runners in the small school varsity race (Fitzpatrick, Lucas Welty of Healdsburg and Matteo Byrd of Balboa). Woodside was the team winner, finishing 18 points ahead of Alisal.

St. Francis, Sacramento freshman Alyssa Gutierrez continued her impressive season with her fourth Invitational victory as she rolled to a 17:59.5 winning time on the Willow Hills Reservoir course. The Whitney girls secured an impressive team victory, scoring 41 points, finishing ahead of the 59 points by St. Francis, Sacramento. Davis sophomore Elias Thronson won his 2nd Invitational of the season finishing ahead of a trio of Jesuit runners with a winning time of 15:36.5. The Jesuit boys' team won with an impresssive low 34 points led by the debut effort of transfer Connor Bilodeau.
Wildcat Forward Motion Invitational Results
A new meet held at Dougherty Valley HS featured the De La Salle Spartans, who had the varsity boys' individual winner, Heath Salter (15:37.3), as well as the team winners with an impressive 22 points. In the varsity girls' race, Foothill sophomore Macy Mullins (18:34.7) won her third Invitational of the season finishing ahead of Oakland Tech sophomore Chloe Leduc. Foothill also had the team winner as they outdistanced Sacred Heart Cathedral by 19 points.
