It's going to be some great temperatures at Woodward Park and some great competition. Expect to see some fast times.

Trying to get up to speed on the meet-is this a “true” invite as in meet management/director invites teams/individuals? Asking for a friend:)

For California invitationals, I would say the top 3 are Woodbridge, Clovis, and Mt. SAC. I have only been to Clovis once, and it was fine, but that was a few years back. I am guessing it's a bit different now with the hype it gets each year.

Not really. You ask to get in and it filled up for schools in June. Then if you want to be in the sweepstakes and you ask to be put in that when you register and then they watch your results and decide who gets into that.

Anyone can register for the event, and with its popularity, it fills up. For the Championship races, I believe the Race Officials invite teams and individuals into those specific races. But otherwise, any team can register to participate in the regular races.

Thanks all, Coach Luther Antioch.

Jackson Levasseur will be in the boys champs as well, out of CBHS, SJS

Two Truckee, California kids racing in fridays championship races. They compete in Nevada but race in California mostly (Woodbridge, Clovis and Mt Sac). School may move to SJS to compete in California again, in the coming years.

Is the move to competing in California set to happen or conjecture?

Sorry for missing him. He's added to the list.

Even though they divided up the Small and Large School championships into different days, it was still a tough event to qualify for, although I like that they kept it to 16 teams.

The caliber was high to qualify. Couple of top SJS teams absent...#1 SJS girls team, Whitney, and #2 SJS boys team, Vacaville usually do the following week's RoughRider Invite same course.

But even top-ranked SJS D1 boys teams #3 Davis, #4 OakRidge, #5 McClatchy, who are having stellar seasons, weren't able to qualify. #2 SJS Girl team St Francis and #3 Oak Ridge did make the champ races.
