Northern California results

Crystal Springs Invitational results:
Santa Cruz sophomore Eli Fitchen-Young ran 14:57.0 to finish in 2nd place in the Championship Varsity Boys race. That time makes him the fastest sophomore ever on the course breaking the 14:58 mark set by Mt. Pleasant's Felix Soto set in 1977.

Clovis Invitational results:
Los Altos girls win the Championship girl's race taking down some very good teams. Sophomore Hanne Thomsen was the individual winner running 17:04.2. For the boys, the top NorCal runner was Davis senior Ryan Mitchell who finished in 5th place in the Championship Boys race. The top team was the Granada boys who finished in 3rd place behind Newbury Park and San Clemente.

Boys: Ryan Mitchell of Davis, Grant Morgenfeld of Palo Alto, Daegan Cutter of Redwood, Roland Ruckmann-Barnes of Granada, Broen Holman of Sonora, Sean Morello of Albany (all top 25 after the merge).
Jude Devries of Montgomery won the Medium Varsity Boys race, Nathan Short of Folsom won the XL Varsity Boys race, Donovan Cheruiyot of Vacaville won the Large Varsity Boys race,
Teams: Dublin, St. Francis (MV) and Amador Valley Top 10 in Championship Race

Girls: Hanne Thompson of Montgomery, Ashylyn Boothby of Scotts Valley, Lauren Soobrian of Los Altos, Emily Soobrian of Los Altos, Amber Boothby of Scotts Valley, Evie Marheineke of Archbishop Mitty (all top 25 after the merge).
Evangeline Marheineke of Archbishop Mitty won the Medium Varsity race, Amber Boothby of Scotts Valley won the Small Varsity Race, Kinga Czajkowska of Palo Alto won the Large Varsity Girls Race
Teams: Los Altos (Winner), St. Francis (MV), Oak Ridge and Granite Bay Top 10 in Championship Race
Palo Alto won the Large Varsity Girls Race
