What happened to "Dwayne" the Roc Johnson?

What happened to Brighie? She was so clearly in 3rd, by a huge margin. We could only watch the webcast from up here, but were cheering for her, none the less, as an outstanding competitor from a DFAL rival. The web cast was focused on Destiny and Fiona's battle at the front and we never saw what happened. So unfortunate..what a lovely young woman, and accomplished athlete.

Brighie ran a very strong first mile, but the pace she was on was probably a little too fast. She just got reeled in by the pack behind Destiny and Fiona. What an incredible race though. This state has amazing depth in its girls distance runners.

She went for it! Was by herself at the mile at sub 10:10 pace, started slowing down on lap 7 and with no one to feed off and she rigged in sprinter's terms! Tough way to go out.
