Jim needs significant financial support as he confronts his battle with ALS. He cannot receive money directly as it would disqualify him for government programs. So gifts to the Special Needs Trust are hugely needed and greatly appreciated.

Holland HAS won & WILL win many races in her career but I will bet this one will be the one she talks about the remainder of her life. THAT is what this sport is all about and the reason we all love it so much!Send your donations to this coach who continues to fight with a strength symbolized in one girls effort to reach the finish line!
The story/video was on the 10:00 news last night.
I believe she was on the Today Show this morning as well. It's definitely a story that has gotten a lot of national attention.
I've seen other videos where otherwise fit cross-country runners collapse like that. She was probably severely dehydrated and she was obviously incoherent at the end of that race - she had to focus everything she had on crawling across the finish line.
