Tim Bruder (latest news)

From Contra Costa Times:
Tim Bruder, longtime track and cross country coach at Alhambra, dies at age 54

To Tim's friends and family,

First of all, thank you to everyone for the kind words and thoughts you
have sent me through the Alhambra Track website. Also a big thank you to
Dye-Stat Cal for publicly disclosing Tim's passing. We have had over 900
viewers on the www.alhambratrack.com website today alone. Tim truly
inspired countless athletes (myself included) to be the best runner they
could possibly be.

Though I do not have the final approval on this, I would like to rename
the Martinez Relays to the Tim Bruder Memorial Relays.

NEWS:
I just received news from Scott Chisam, who is Tim's brother-in-law. In
his email to me he writes:

"We will keep you posted on the plans for a memorial. At this point there
will not be any formal funeral. Most likely there will be a memorial at
Alhambra High School in the coming weeks. The family plans to spread his
ashes this spring at one of his favorite camping sites.

Tim's three loving sisters are making all his arrangements"

I will keep everyone updated as I get more information. I am trying to get
an address for anyone wishing to send a letter of sympathy to Tim's Family.

Thank you all for your continued support.
