5 girls breaking the meet and course record at the Oakmont Invitational was pretty surprising.
Seems like we've already set a few course records. Crosscountryflation?
I can't speak for every meet but Oakmont has been at this venue (Johnson-Springview Park) since 2023 and it just seems to be a faster course then it was at Maidu prior to that. We (St. Francis) have only been going to it every other year and rotating in Lagoon Valley. But this year they are on separate weekends so all there were many teams at Oakmont and plenty of fast girls that pushed each other to big performances. A quick scan of the boys' results one (David Coisson from Galena (NV)) that broke that venue record from last year as well. I was pretty surprised that we had 5 NV teams make the trip too.
Looks like the SJS will be fast once again!
