8/29 Knights Joust at Crystal Springs XC Course
65 teams at Oakmont last I checked.
Oakmont Invite should give a good indication of early season contenders for SJS D1 boys. Only Davis is missing. McClatchy and Oak Ridge and Turlock boys all looked good at Sierra Invite. Pleasant Grove boys were solid at their home meet. D1 might not have the depth of D2 but any of those teams can secure one of the 3 state qualifying spots.
Did Hugh Heyer and Landon Warriner raced? Didn’t see them in the results, are they injured?
I saw Hugh but he didn't race, he wasn't injured and just jogged warmups with the team. McClatchy was way down in VB results but their 1-2 would have definitely put them at least around Pleasant Grove.
