New CCS 4 x 1600 record for Menlo boys
Last night at the Mt. SAC Invitational, the Menlo foursome of Landon Pretre, Aiden Deffner, Will Hauser and Justin Pretre finished in 2nd place at the Mt. SAC Invitational with a time of 17:19.22. That time eclipses the previous CCS best of 17:24.84c by Leigh HS in 1979.

I was there and watched the whole race right above the finish line (and by the way, the new Hilmer Lodge Stadium at Mt. SAC is incredible...anybody who can go to the Mt. SAC Relays next year should really consider it, for the opportunity to run on that track in that stadium!), and the Knights ran such an intelligent race from start to finish. They knew they had a shot at the CCS record, but the 4x1600 is a tough race...unless you run with patience and tenacity, which is exactly what all four Menlo athletes did...congrats!!!!!!!!!! Bom trabalho treinador Jorge!
