Interesting, coming from a time where Miranda, MBR, and Scales had 2 years of CCS dominance, there are a few rising seniors who are just now stepping out of their shadows. MacKenzie, Colona, and Saul look ready to fill that void. All will be in the mix for the CCS and state championships.
Injuries will play a huge factor as well
And again these are predictions from previous year's performances and I'm sure there will be other boys as well as girls who will be surprises too. The girls side is completely up for grabs as far as the top runner in CCS. But on the boys side as 8:07PM said, those 3 will be a force and will be fun to watch for sure. And Colin Peatit will also be interesting to see since now he's healthy.
Walt has been very clear that he posts time comparisons and not rankings. I for one appreciate all the work that goes into his time comparisons and it's a great way to find out who the top teams are in each division.
Yes, there are runners that are not listed in his time comparisons for multiple reasons (injured, incoming freshmen, transfers etc.) and that is always what will make each season exciting.
Strange year where there is almost no information on impact rising freshmen. What explains that?
Caiden Hogg to Los Altos.
Nice pickup for Los Altos. But how do you go from MS in San Jose to HS in Los Altos? Seems strange unless there was a residence move.
