Awesome achievement for a kid who works really hard and is just starting to figure this cross country thing out. As a sophomore, he was frequently his team's 4th or 5th man, but by the time the track season came around, he molded himself in to a section champion 3,200 runner. From the start of this season, he was a revelation and an extremely strong case could be made that he was the most improved runner in the state (check last year's cross country times to this season's). Having seen him run about 10 times this year, I think he is just scratching the surface of what he can be. With runners like Vernau, Cooper Teare, Luis Grijalva and Benjamin Holland back next year, things are looking pretty bright for NorCal Cross Country. Congrats to him and the Davis girl's for their work at NXN.
