Awesome to see Caitlin still involved in the sport. She was a very talented youth runner up through high school and beyond. For those who trained under Al Beta in the Sacramento area in the 1970's and 1980's, the article describes the training methods Al employed. Most "speed" runners know this type of workout and incorporate the basic methodology into their workout. A good 400m-800m coach is an excellent source of information to use for those considering themselves distance runners/coaches. As always Albert, "good stuff"
