Notable NorCal performances

Catching up from Hoka Festival of Miles and other events.


New CCS record for Stephen Sziebert of Bellarmine on setting new CCS records in the 1500, 1600 and mile with his 3:47.54, 4:02.87 and 4:0429 clockings.

Also, Josie Hill of Sonoma Academy won the 800 with a time of 2:05.87 which is the 2nd fastest time in NCS history.

This past weekend, Harker's Brady Tse qualified for U20s for Canada in the 400 hurdles with a time of 51.55.

Former Santa Cruz runner Eli Fitchen-Young won the 3000 steeple chase at NON with a time of 8:58.48. That also qualifies him for U20s.

Lastly, two new PRs for Palo Alto senior Amaya Bharadwaj as she raced to 4:44.89 in the mile and 10:01.58 in the 2 mile. The 2 mile time converts to 9:58.09 which lowers her own CCS record and becomes the first CCS runner to break 10 minutes in the 3200.
