Nice to see Kellen Steplight back in action. I am sure it's a long recovery from bone spurs, but I think he deserves the 7th spot when Vacaville goes to state. He has given a lot to resurgence of that team.
Mike- Thank you for the kind words. The last year has been rough with the pandemic, bone spurs and chips and low ferritin. That being said, he’s on pace to be back for sections and state and will be on the team that competes. He’s been running and biking and Coach Monk has been taking it slow with him. Coach wanted him to pace the Frosh/Soph boys Wednesday. He plans to be in the mix as the boys make a run for the state title.
