Wish our district will allow more than a dual meet. Missing the big meets!
any chance they can move registration to Athletic.net?
Why is milesplit trying to dethrone athletic.net? What’s the reason meet directors would switch?
Actually, most teams use milesplit for registration in most of the other states outside of California. I hear it's easier for timers and once all the students are loaded, it will be easy for coaches to use it as well.
But how is it better than athletic.net?
Athletic.net you copy and paste your roster, add events in your calendar and enter athletes. It’s simple and user friendly. So what’s better about it?
Milesplit is a pay service. Is the plan to get people moved over then charge them for it?
Feel free to boycott any meets that don't use athletic.net to sign up your athletes. That will show them.
Albert, why did you respond like this? I’m sincerely wondering why the shift and how they are better.
Maybe they aren't better, but maybe the timing companies got some incentive for partnering with them. They have to make a living too. Who cares. It's annoying, it's an inconvenience, in the end we will all deal with it.
If you have been coaching for a while, you have entered athletes on so many different websites. They are not all easy to use but we figure it out.
