This was great! Would love to see XC back in the summer or winter Olympics.
Don't see it happening any time soon as their is a movement to take away the 10k, triple jump and the shot put (which is one of the track's more iconic events). On top of it dropping another iconic Olympic sport like wrestling (for surfing?) adding a cross country race is unlikely.
Though it would be cool to see different events like in XC skiing. A relay, persuit, along with some other ideas.
