It looks like a promising season for the CCS has hit a little bit of a roadblock with some key injuries. Mackenzie and Saul appear to be out and it’s not known when or if they will make it back. Both Eng and Garcia from SF have sat out but appear to be back. So the top guys who have not been hurt are Colonna and Peattie, who will finally race against each other in a league meet next week and the final at the end of the month.
@4:39 Colonna beat Peattie at Stanford, but only by a few seconds. It will be interesting to see what happens next week between these two but the big one will be the WCAL final at Crystal. Even with the injuries to a few of the SF guys, the team title is going back to Mt. View. The question is who takes the individual title.
My guess is Bell varsity jogs the JV race as usual in WCAL #2. Don’t they go to Mt. Sac? WCAL Finals will be where it’s at.
