Here is your chance to come up with the next topic, rankings or any other idea you may have for this site. We are getting close to the start of the cross country competitive season. I know it's still July but September is not that far away. Feel free to be creative and all topics will be considered.

Some articles on the finer points of training, nutrition, weight training, hydration, supplements, etc. I would like to know what the elite high school runners are doing in these categories and when. Did Cooper lift weights? What does he do and when did he start? What does Liam eat and drink the week of a race? It would be great to read the comments on what these kids are doing and why it would or would not work for the kids who want to get to that elite level.
1. Guest articles by local coaches. One per week.
2. "Workout Wednesday" video or article on a workout from a local team.
3. Highlight more than the top teams. I'm tired if Bell, SF, Campo. There's a lot of up & coming schools that don't have the money or support these schools do but are doing good things.
D1 ncs ranking
1. Highlight some up and coming schools. Not just the usual teams.
2. Weekly article written by local coaches. Perhaps on a topic voted on weekly.
3. "Monday Workout." Most programs have hard workouts on mondays. Could be any day but how about a weekly "Workout Wednesday" like segment from local teams.
What does Liam eat and drink the week of a race? Really now?
Possibly upload rankings of the various grade levels, such as top freshmen, top sophomores, top juniors, and top seniors in the state.
More rankings
I'd love me more content, like woukout of the week, a weekly training article, etc. But for the love of God no more rankings. It is so pointless and doesn't matter one bit. These comparisons are done almost weekly by Walt in Lynbrooksports. Go there for rankings.
You should look at team capsules for each team in your top 20 CCS and NCS, plus maybe who to watch for. History, projection, athlete profile, impact runners for each, are they a pack team or a front runner type team, coaches profile! Another where are athletes and coaches at now! Are they still running (what kind of advice can they give about colleges with there experiences. Choosing programs, (coaching, athletics or academics). Coaches, where are they now, are they still coaching, what did they learn from one program to another, are they still continuing success! Former NCS and CCS athletes articles also, the ups and downs of collegiate or professional running.

Ranking your comment, I would go with the following:
1) Love me more content
2) Workout of the week
3) Weekly training article
4) For the love of god, no more rankings
uniform rankings/discussion would be fun
We could start here. Who has the best uniforms?
Best Uniforms: Palos Verdes and Dana Hills
Worst Uniforms: Vacaville and Los Gatos
Arcadia has some pretty nice ones
I appreciate Dana Hills as they are unique. But not a fan. And who chose the LG units? At least you know where your guys are in the race.
If possible I would like to see if you could re-interview some of the coaches you interviewed in the past. It would be interesting to see how, if anything has changed since the last time you have interviewed them.
Guessing @10:55 doesn't like orange. Not a Trump fan ehh?
Best Uniform is Great Oak. (No one said it had to be NorCal) Always loved the simplicity of "GO" on the front with the dual meaning.
When Homestead wears their solid green uniform at the SCVAL meets, you can't tell them apart from Palo Alto at a distance. But in their lime green vertical stripes, you can pick out their runners from afar
The top income freshmen from Norcal with events and time would be great.
agree with Homestead and Great Oak... also think Saint Ignatius has a nice set

Regarding incoming Freshman, I can only speak on the incoming girls issue because I had a few girls running the USATF circuit the last few years that have run with them. There isn't a great superstar moving up this year in Northern California but there are probably 3 girls that will make a difference.
Isabelle Cairns is from Woodside and had a good track season. She ran a 2:16 800 and 4:56 1500. The club girls run 1500 so that needs to be converted. I get 5:17 for 1600. She ran XC last year but in track she focused on the 400 and 800 so it's unclear if she will run XC in HS. I also don't know what HS she is going to.
Natalie Harper is headed to Cosumnes Oaks. She ran 5:11 at Halden for 1600 and also ran 4:50 for 1500. She also ran a 10:36 3000. She will certainly be a big factor for CO.
Madison Denny is headed to Armijo. She ran a 4:47 1500 which converts to a 5:08 for 1600. She also ran a 2:20 800 and a 10:32 3000. She has the fastest 1500 and 3000 times for Northern California middle school girls and the 2nd fastest 800 to Isabelle Cairns. I also heard that Luis Grijalva's coach is staying on with Armijo to coach her. Not sure if that's true but if so, that could be huge. Times courtesy of athletic.net
I believe Cairns is going to St. Francis, MV.
