I cannot express how deeply saddened I am to hear of Michael's passing. Michael was a true legend of Bay Area running. His love for the sport was unparalleled. As an athlete, coach, agent, and meet promoter he represented the sport of running with integrity, passion, and most importantly...Love! I am very proud to have been a small part of his amazing running life.
Sincere condolences to Michael's family and many friends.
