St Francis is in Sacramento, not San Jose. The SJ indicates the Section.
I don't think that refers to the section. I know St. Francis, MV refers to the city where it is located. I looked up SJ and that could mean Society of Jesus. Can anybody confirm what SJ stands for?
Hey Albert! I'm pretty sure it refers to the Sac-Joaquin Section. Like in your college commitment post, schools in this area have SJS listed next to them.
This is 100% it. SJS Section. They try to find a way to differentiate this St Francis from others and sometimes it’s “Sac” other times it’s “SJS” and other times for no reason it’s “SJ” to shorten the Section to 2 letters much like “SS”
