I am sure people with way more knowledge will correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like 2021 has been an awesome year for Northern California track/cc athletes. So many graduates going off to top collegiate programs (Stanford, Oregon, Virginia, BYU, UCLA, Cal, etc.) and some emerging stars (Sofia Nordenholz, Daniel Winters, Sean Lacey, etc.)who look well positioned to take over the mantle next year.
"Top collegiate programs" and "UCLA, Cal"? Those don't go together, at least not on the distance side. :)
UCLA was a top 10 team in cross in 2019 until Robert Brandt got hurt before the regional meet, things have been trending up there @1:11
