Any idea why for MOC meet the Boy's PV & Long Jump the final results not appearing? Were they delayed for some reason or is it just a computer glitch?

Anyone know why Rayna Stanziano did not run NCS MOC 1600m after having top time at Tri Valley?

Some notes from SJS Masters:
Boys: Strangio doubled (1,600 & 3,200) and intends to do both at state. Larrier dropped the 200, but won the 400 and 4x4 (2nd in the 4x1 after a trip on the last exchange), Mulholland won the 100 & 200. Marshall doubled by winning the 110s (after getting bumped, hitting his knee on his chin, falling at the finish and getting spiked in the hand) and 4x1, then came back and qualified in the 300 Hurdles. Jamal's freshman brother Jadyn, qualified in 3 events (4x1, 110HH, 300H). Another freshman, Kellen Steplight qualified in the 1,600.

Girls: Columba Efiong won the 100 & 200, Isabella Fauria won the 800 and 1,600 and will likely focus on one to be decided later. Freshman Riley Chamberlain, after missing almost the whole season following her XC State Championship dominated the field in winning the 3,200.

Congrats to all the qualifiers, looking forward to seeing you compete at State.

@12:39PM supposedly Rayna was sick the week before so that might be why plus she also realized that 1600m runners around the State were also getting fast times that her chances to win the 1600m State diminished significantly. Same thing happened last year where there were 6+ girls below 4:50 already way before section finals so she stuck with the 800m.

Will the MOC meet be at Diablo Valley permanently? I know the State meet was moved up a week earlier was this the reason for the change in venue? For me personally located in El Cerrito & then barting to Cal much more convenient.

I don't think the locations are based on convenience for anybody and you have to remember that there are teams traveling from near the Oregon border.

I can see the convenience for local competitors but for schools near the Oregon border what's another 5-10 miles?

NCS could also look at a central site if they really want to make it a little more convenient for those teams up north. Similar to what Fresno is to California.
