has to be Alexa Efraimson (she is NorCal, right?)
otherwise Anna Maxwell
Nate Moore
Alexa Efraimson is from Washington..............
Wagner from Los Gatos will single handedly win them the girls CCS team title. Maybe not a single dominate performance but definitely the MVP this year.
Fiona O' Keeffe
Mecca McGlaston from Dublin in the 100 hurdles
Mcglaston scored a majority if the points for Dublin's girls team by winning the 100, 200, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles against a tri meet against Campo, Las Lomas and Alhambra. To top it all off, she is still just a sophomore!
should be a boys and girls nominee - Huxam/Maxwell
Reonna Collier from Piedmont Hills. 100m- 11.97 200m-24.77 400m-54.90 300m hurdles-42.41 100m hurdles-14.57. 2.15 800m as an eighth grader. Freshman!
Collier was very impressive at the CCS Top 8 meet. You also have to take into consideration that this is her first year hurdling.
Best athlete historically in track means multi-event type athletes. On the track and in the field, these are my bets for best athletes in CCS...I don't know the other sections well enough.
Girls side: Maddy Price* (11.94, 24.47 #4 wind legal CA, 43.00 300H #9 CA, 53.42 #3 USA) Greta Wagner close second, Hannah Chen third
Boys side: Dion Shattuck ( 15.42 HH, 6'9", 21' 11", 14'6", 44' 10.25" TJ, and perhaps a relay leg on CCS best 4x100?))
* Price doesn't have a field mark to my knowledge, but the hurdle sprint combo is tremendous, and I imagine her SP or HJ would be impressive!dye)
Caice Lanovaz
On the boys' side it's Nate Moore with Frank Kurtz securing an honorable mention. On the girls' side I think you have to go with Anna Maxwell for now, but Pattriana Perry might have something to say about that by the end of the season.
