Carrie Verdon is back at full strength and wins her race in the 3k in 9:42.17 at indoors. Chuck's Army delivers again for the college ranks!

Doesn't 9:42 equal about 10:22 for 2-miles or slower than her high school times. Write back when she's 9:02.

Probably converts to a slower time. While her indoor track times haven't been stellar so far, she did take 3rd in the USA XC Champs junior race at the beginning of Feb and will run at the World Champs in Poland next month.
With that said, former NCS athletes Kelsey Santisteban (Cal - Castro Valley) and Emily Shearer (Cornell - Acalanes) are running at a much higher level in college and had great weekends on the track....
