Will they have heat sheets for Arcadia?

Girls 3,200m- Baxter should use her strength to push the pace even more than at NZN. and try to sap the kicks of both A. Maxwell and Efraimson. This could help push Efraimson under 10:00 and it's a toss-up for second. This could be the California distance track race of the decade. Many other quality girls in this race also. Efraimson 1st, A.Maxwell 2nd, Baxter 3rd.

I mean, the field is so good that the girl who set the sophomore record at Woodward Park, qualified to NXN, and won her state championship (Fiona O'Keefe) is an afterthought. The girl who just beat her in two races this weekend and is a national qualifier herself (Sarah Robinson) is an afterthought. A two-time National qualifier and West Region champion (Makena Morley) is an afterthought.

When I say "afterthought," I don't mean to put down these athletes. Just that are they really being considered for the win in this race? I think there is a clear top 4 and then it could be anyone. I think we see some huge breakout races for anyone past those 4. Should be a great race!

Guy's 3200 so none of the Nor Cal guy's got into the A heat?

he boys 3,200 meters – traditionally the showcase event of the entire meet – is as strong as ever and could possibly steal the thunder from the girls race if it doesn't go as fast as expected. A West-heavy lineup that includes Blake Haney, Estevan De La Rosa (it's his home track), Austin Tamagno, Tanner Anderson, Kai Wilmot, John Dressel, Joe Hardy, Garrett Corcoran, Elijah Armstrong, Levi Thomet, Cerake Geberkidane, Conner Mantz, Sydney Gidabuday and Blair Hurlock. Then, from the Midwest come Patrick Perrier and Jesse Reiser from Illinois, Noah Kauppila from Missouri, and Aaron Templeton from Tennessee. And from the East, Garrett O'Toole from Massachusetts and Ian Milder and Ben Huffman from North Carolina.

My prediction is:

1) Efraimson in national record time.
2) Baxter in PR time and sub 10:00.
3) Maxwell in PR time and sub 10:00.

Efraimson breaks 10 but NO national record Baxter will not break 10 and Maxwell while great runner is not going uner 10 minutes.

Baxter will not win this race.

I agree on Baxter not winning this race. Efraimson is the clear favorite. The question is if other girls will join her going sub 10.
