If there are athletes and/or coaches that you would like to see interviewed, add their names in the comment section below.

  1. Jorge Chen...solid recent success with Menlo and his iGreyhounds club...
Phil Pompei...nice to revisit and see how XC went with added oversight of the girls and plans for track
Willie Hermatz...consistent success @ Los Gatos HS and Club. what's new with CCS top 8 this spring
Chris Williams @ Dublin on the growth of his distance festival.
Maybe Steve Filios to weigh in CCS Division alignment in XC and future points of emphasis within the section for track and cross?
All the other sports appear to be going away from strict adherence to school size for the playoff assignments. What can we as Leagues/Coaches do?
Also, perhaps a discussion on how to find new or revisit old venues for cross country races. With Toro park pricing/access issues, what can we do?

  3. I'd like to see some updated coach interviews. Some of the ones you posted are from a long time ago and it would be interesting to see how those coaches have changed their approaches since then.

It would be nice if the coaching staff from Campolindo could be interviewed, they've clearly been on a tear the past few years.

  4. How about an interview with the young guy running the program a Jesuit High School in Carmichael ;-)

  6. I’d like to see an interview with Craig Lee!

And there’s no access issues with Toro Park... Monterey Invite was phenomenal this past year! As for pricing it costs less than renting SJCC for football and I’d bet it pulls in more money.

  7. I nominate Peter Brewer. His last interview with CCExpress was 12 years ago in 2008.
