  1. Ridiculous race. What's next weightman's relay :-0

  2. I had no idea they had added that race to the meet. I say it's interesting and realistically the majority of the countries can't compete with the US and it's depth unless they just go all in trying to win that event.

Maybe a weightman's relay might draw a crowd? Would certainly be fun to watch.

  3. I think it is cool to watch. Sure the US is the dominant force, but other countries crush us in other sports - soccer, team handball, ping pong, badminton, etc. There is some strategy putting your men up front to get the lead and see if the women can hold them off. Track does need something to draw attention to it.

  4. Cool event, but only if they mix it up. If everyone runs MFFM then it's just another boring relay. Maybe they could force you to run a certain order based on lane draw?

This race was an example of how it can be exciting.

  5. Interesting that Steve Filios made Saint Francis invite drop the co-Ed 4x200. Now Arcadia is doing a co-Ed 4x400. So I’m guessing CCS athletes won’t be able to compete there this year because CCS won’t sanction it.

  6. The San Rafael Twilight Relays used to have co-ed 4 x 200 and 4 x 800 races and that was the favorite meet for many of my athletes.

  7. It wasn't a CCS call to not allow mixed Relays, it was a State call. Wonder how Arcadia is allowing it? Maybe the rule has been reversed ...
