  2. Amazing how fast WCAL runners can go with a proper working score board. I suggest hiring record timing for next years WCAL Finals.

  4. I predict that the winners of the 1600 will be Strangio, Anderson and Peattie, in that order. Chase Gordon will take the 800 and Nico Young will take the 3200 with Anderson and Strangio rounding out the top 3 spots.

  10. This meet seemed especially long, excessively dragging things out. The meet came to a standstill in the 200s with nothing going on for like 20 min. There is NO reason to have a 4.5 hour Finals. Is the usual finish time for finals 10:30? Or did Buchanan’s Brian Weaver (also meet manager) stretch out the schedule because they were in the team title hunt and doubling. It was amazing how quickly the boys 3200 & 4x4’s started after the girls race. Over-all a great meet with some great performers. But the pacing of this meet is why part of the problem in track & field as a sport making it attractive to spectators.
