Latest update from Central Coast Section office regarding CCS meet

Cross Country: at Crystal Spring Course in Belmont has had undulating AQI numbers since Friday-mostly on the unhealthy side.   So if by Friday morning the numbers do not indicate there will be a potential to be in the healthier range at Belmont for Saturday, we will move the meet to Toro Park in Salinas.  The unfortunate part is that Toro Park is not available for a Saturday meet.  So we may be moving the meet to  Sunday at Toro Park.  We will make that decision on Friday morning and let you know ASAP.

  3. Why not combine the races like the SJS is doing:

    D1/D2 Boys @ 7:30am
    D1/D2 Girls @ 8:00am
    D3/D4/D5 Boys @ 8:30am
    D3/D4/D5 Girls @ 9:00am

All races done by 9:30am and everyone can be back inside by 10:00am. The less time all the officials have to stay out in the bad air the better.

  6. My suggestion is for the CCS. You guys sound a little testy right now. Nice job to move the meet, but why have people driving home at 6 on Sunday night. Get the kids there early, race, go home.

  7. Volleyball & basketball games START at 7:30 on a school night. I think they’ll manage.
