2018 California Track and Field Meet

There will be a state preview coming up on Wednesday. In the meantime, feel free to discuss any events and what NorCal athletes will have a shot to either win or at least get on the podium (top 6 finish).

    NCS boy's ranked 2-3-4 on the state meet 800m list. My guess is that has never happened before?

    I feel like Sondre Guttormsen will prevail in the pole vault. Tierra Robinson-Jones, in the 200/400. Zachary Larrier or Max Glasser in the 400. Olivia O'Keeffe in the 16, Maddy and Elena Denner in the 32. Liam Anderson in the 32. Cathilyn McIntosh in the 800. Jett Charvet in the 800. Could be a banner year for Northern California athletes.

    Can we assume the 1600 is split into 2 equal heats and the odds go first and the evens go second?

    CCS is reppin' it at states !! Colonna taking the 1600 heat 2, and Gomez/Anderson in heats 2/3 in the 800. :D

    Robinson-Jones is the clear favorite in the 400. She will have more competition in the 200.

    All three of the distance runners you mentioned were impressive and should do well today.
