  3. Auto time based on 8th but 12 make final. Why is auto not last time qualifier?

  4. Maybe because there were 50 girls in the 3200 2 years ago.

  5. The slower athletes really need to be cut from CCS. It is painful to watch kids jogging and get lapped. There's 4 good runners racing against second tier JV runners. Any local invite is more competitive that CCS trials. It's sad.

  6. That's why using at large times at all is a joke. Too tight and you leave some great runners at home, too loose and you get 50 girls on the line. The entries should be based on a smaller number of total autos, plus a fixed number of next fastest times from the league finals. You get the best of both worlds - fastest runners and limit field. Let's all check the stats on who ran yesterday, who made the finals, and who stayed home, take a deep breath and gain the courage to confront the CCS on this awful system.
