  1. Probably just a little typo, but San Ramon Valley High is in the NCS. I'm actually thinking that maybe another school entirely that IS in the CCS was meant for this slot because I'm not seeing much rationale for SRVHS to be ranked so high...

  2. What happened to St. Joseph Notre Dame boys? haven't seen any of the returning members run yet...

  3. They haven't run as a team yet but I think we will see what they have this coming Saturday at Stanford. Murphys plus Teare plus the sophomores...they will still be very tough this year although winning another state championship will be a very tough challenge this year.

  4. Monte Mista (NCS) should definitly be higher on the list.

  8. According to that map you are missing all the Fresno schools. They should hold 4-5 spots for both boys and girls.

  9. I started this site in 2006 and have always had the following sections as part of Northern California: NO, SJS, NCS, CCS, SF and OAK. Same goes for Hank Lawson and www.lynbrooksports.com.

Some think anything north of the Grapevine is Northern California! LOL.

Thanks for sticking to a truer north.

  13. Las Lomas Varsity Girls and Boys came in 2nd place at the Lowell Invitational last weekend. Why aren't they in the top ten?

  15. Because Bellarmine B Boys came in 1st in one heat and the Bellarmine A boys won the other heat?

As for the Las Lomas girls, there is a case to be made since they came in 2nd at Lowell without Hansel. But Monte Vista (NCS) beat Las Lomas at the Monte Vista Invite and won at Ed Sias in a different race than Las Lomas. Las Lomas did not win their race at Ed Sias, either.

It's really semantics, since they won't really see each other for a while (I think both are going to Trojan, but maybe not with their varsities). And when it all counts, they don't face each other either.

  16. Miramonte isn't racing this Saturday, but their varsity boys beat Dublin's on the NCS course at Farmer's last Saturday. They should be up there in the rankings.
