former norcal runner here...did a workout recently that was two sets of 600, 400, 200 with 3 minutes jogging rest between sets, 400 jog in 2:30 after the 600 and 200 jog in 1:15 and the 400. 2:27.4, 58.8, 28.72:28.8, 59.5, 28.5brutal!
