  3. Congratulations to Campolindo girls for an awesome performance from a Las Lomas fan who is pleased with our girls effort as well.

NCS will be represented well in Div 3 girls with those two plus BOD.

  4. Given that Div 1 and 3 girls ran on the same course on the same day merging those results shows something interesting. Campo would have would won with 45 points with Las Lomas 2nd with 84 points. Eleven of the first 26 runners were from those two schools. By the time they had their top 5 across the line, no other school had more than two scorers.

  8. What is the Shadow Cliff girl's team course record? Would imagine Campo's approx 91:44 would be on the list.

  9. Wow. Lick-Wimlerding sweeps the BCL West! Head Coach Jeff Gardiner deserves a lot of recognition, would be interesting to have him interviewed. NCS Division 5 should be an exciting race.
Campo girls looking great as well.

Is it just me or are humans getting faster each year? Every year the times drop significantly. Can this be attributed to better coaching science? Increased knowledge of the sport? What's going on!?

  10. Lick-Wilmerding has developed their young /large team over the past three years. University program(Coach Jim Tracy) has set the bar high for all teams to suceed in the BCL. His success in the BCL/NCS/State meets has been tremendous over the years. Now Lick is earning their share. Coach Gariner has worked had to get to this position. The BCL is the strongest D5 league in the state.
Their teams And individuals have to work hard to get the the State meet.

  14. @8:53 PM: I think 2010 Campolindo was faster on the Shadow Cliffs course. Also, I'm pretty sure 2010 Campolindo had a smaller pack margin than this year's Campolindo team

  15. The Campo Girls team from 2011 was the faster than the 2013, then 2010 teams.

  16. Hat's off to both Hurlock and Goltra for great runs last Friday. Shadows cliff is a more difficult course than first impressions might gave. Not sure what the weather was like last Friday at Shadow cliffs but Luna ran his record time on a pretty warm early October day. He was in top form and this was his favorite course. All three are great competitors.
