Maxwell's race was impressive, and with 300 to go I actually thought she was going to take it. For the first time, I think she's got a good chance at the state title in the 3200.
Baxter kind of looked like she was "just running" out there.
I think that 10:10 is an incredible race for Maxwell, but I don't think she has any chance at a state title in the 3200. I think Sarah Baxter will run 9:55 by State, and I don't think Maxwell will improve much at all. I do however think that Maxwell has a chance to win a state title in the 1600 and think she should go for that event at state.
Epic effort! CCS represented again
ReplyDeleteBetween Aptos and SLV... Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteIs the Santa Cruz (Felton, Scotts Valley, Capitola/Soquel, Aptos) area the most densely talented per capita area in the U.S.?
