boys 1600 and 3200 are about to be nuts. yohan and jonny and ho etc
ReplyDeleteThe 1600 is gonna be crazy fast. If Yohaness Estifanoss was also in the race it would be ridiculously fast. Cody Johnson is gonna take it out. Vasquez, Johnson, Lawson, Garibay, Baier, Hutchins,Sum, and the wild card Corvese who snuck up on everybody during XC. Some of the guys are running the 2 mile so lets see how it affects them.
ReplyDeletenah, im betting 1600 is a kickers race. cody's not dumb, wont take it out. johnny dictates, no one else has the credentials. weak year for mile in ccs, unfortunately. yohanness aside, obviously
ReplyDeletemile- if they come around under 2:10 at the half its anybody's race. if they let it lag and come around anywhere in the 2:teen range, cody johnson the 1:52 fella will outkick the field. if lawson has the confidence/balls to take it from the gun and just outrun the field with a brutal pace from the start, he'll break everyone. but thats unlikely. i'm gonna say 4:16 wins it, with splits 2:10 and 2:06. no clue who will win.

ReplyDeleteJohnny dictates? Based on his 4:18 mile PR? I don't think so. I predict 5 guys going under 4:17. Lawson being 6th in 4:18. The 5 will be Cody Johnson, Vasquez, Garibay, Corvese and Baier.
