Do you really expect a high school girl to run a 4:39 at this meet? No I heard she's going to Castro Valley now.

Easy qualifying marks - too bad some athletes won't get a chance to try the fun of indoor track.
^ FresnoBound, it's too bad some athletes go to Fresno but can't even make it to their section finals.
and some race indoors and get 3rd in state like Nick Ratto did last year in the 800. There are lots of different ways to find success.

Considering the state meet is usually won with a time in the 4:40ish range, I highly doubt that person is a high school girl.

Make the indoor State Meet the 2nd or 3rd weekend in March - hardly anyone from California goes to New York for NBIN anymore. Teams are all running Invites by this time so the meet could be more attractive to coaches.
Anonymous 9:13 AM is probably right about a mixup. Heat one was all male.
