This was the right call. Extreme wind was the major issue, with canopies and tents literally flying around and unsafe. The rain was secondary. There could have been some running events, but def. not field events. Many schools either did not arrive or left early so this was the right call. Fresno State at the collegiate level also cancelled their meet so not a one time decision.
Californians can't handle a little rain? Poor babies. I guess you are getting soft. What's next, postponed because it is a little warm?
