Will luis luna run both the 1600 and the 3200 at MOC? Before this xc season I would have guessed that he would try to win both but it looks like the competition in the NCS did a good job catching up to him.
Agreed. He'll have Thomas Joyce on his heels in the 2-mile this year already. Combining that with Fuhriman's kick speed in the 1600 makes a double by Luis Luna look a tad far-fetched. In terms of depth, we should be looking at quite an interesting 800m final this year. With seven guys between 1:56.3 and 1:57.3 (including Parker Deule's sophomore year time), I think we can count on a close finish. Probably gong to be the same story in the 1600m final with Fuhriman and Fehrnstrom returning with about a half a second between them.
According to this the two 3200 runners that should be on the list in place of the DLS graduates are Gabe Arias of St Joes and Adam White of Arroyo http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Division/Event.aspx?DivID=28608&Gender=M&Event=60

When can we expect to see a Womens preview?
ReplyDeleteMJ and CvM from DLS (appearing on the 3200 list) graduated last year, just so everyone knows.
ReplyDeleteCorrect about the De La Salle runners. For some reason they were listed as juniors last year.
ReplyDeleteI am sure Keith will get the women's posted soon. When he does, I will post the link.
ReplyDeleteDeuel run 1:55h in SRV saturday time trial. 3 other SRV runners were solidly under 2:00 (Holmgren,Hardy & DeVries)
