  3. Boys 1600 all over the place???

  4. Cold, lots of wind, rain on and off... it was nasty. In many races no one wanted to lead.

I don't mind these days though. Teaches the kids to race and not always go for time. Sometimes you race in the rain and go for the win!

  5. The wind was SWIRLING HARD during the last heat of the boys 1600. I think it was at it's worse at that point.

Over half the field of 4:20+ milers were running in the 4:30s and 4:40s... it was ROUGH. Pflasterer looked like a monster though, he just sat patiently and when he made his move... he laid it down! Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the state finals this year.

  6. The weather was not conducive to running fast times yesterday as you can clearly see by the times.

It definitely was all about the racing.

Despite the tough conditions, it was still another successful and fun DDF.

  12. All three are great freshmen and were all on the NorCal All-Freshmen team.

I would happily coach the slowest of those 3...:D

  13. How about a Nor Cal all freshman DMR with Blair Hurlock in the mix? They would be awesome!
