I will break down all the top NorCal individuals and teams at the state meet. Who will be the fastest NorCal boys team at the state meet? Girls team? Boys individual? Girls individual?
Best of luck to all the athletes and coaches at the meet.

WOW, Carrie Verdon 17:15 and a D3 title!! When was the last time a Norcal runner ran so fast? The last one I can think of in the last few years is Laurynne Chetelat, which tells you Verdon is in superstar company...
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the Campo Girls with individual and team D3 titles. Looks like Verdon's time ties her for top 20 performers at Woodbridge so far. Here's the list of girls (and boys):

San Rafael and Milechman took the D4 boys titles!
ReplyDeleteSo much for the ss taking the top 7 spots in div IV.
ReplyDeleteLots of great performances for norcal so far.

Sarah Baxter....16:57 4th fastest ever and she beat Hassey's time by like 17 seconds and shattered the ....ridiculously fast girl! Congrats to Kelsey S. from Castro Valley for finishing 5th in that race.
ReplyDeleteI was saying...shattered the freshman girls records by some "stupid" fast runnin'. Will be interesting to see what she does the next 3 years.
ReplyDeleteNorcal and Socal unite, Saugus girls and Arcadia boys for national champions??!?!
ReplyDeleteIs Jessie Petersen going to NXN??
ReplyDeleteCan Saugus or Arcadia get top 3 at NXN?
ReplyDeleteCalifornia teams have traditionally struggled with the tough conditions at Portland Meadows, but I see something different from these two teams. I could see both on the podium.

Saugus knows what it takes, this is an experienced squad that has been on the teams that finished 2nd. This is the one year I could seriously see them challenge for the win.
ReplyDeleteThe marin IJ is gonna have a lot of people to cover this next week.
ReplyDeleteArcadia has the fastest team time at Woodward by over a minute. I'd say they have a pretty good shot at winning NXN. I know Saugus has the fastest girls time as well, and they will face some good competition in NY from Fayetville Manlius.
ReplyDeleteWhat other California schools will go to NXN?
Do you think Campo will go?
And for boys - Dana Hills, Trabuco Hills, and Loyola?
heres the video of the d5 boys
