1. Who do you like in the Deer Valley vs. Monte Vista matchup for that second spot for state in D1 Boys?
ReplyDelete2. No more Castro Valley for boys?
1. Very good question. I think I will have to wait and see the next few invitationals and league meets to call that one.
ReplyDelete2. Castro Valley will be there at the end too. They just ran at the Artichoke and looked pretty good with 2 9th graders part of their top 5.
Trying to cut down to 20 teams in Northern California is pretty tough. CV is just one of a few good teams that missed just being on the list.
WOW! I'm not even surprised that Skyline is ranked 3rd. They are impressive. They just keep moving up in the rankings. I can't wait to see what they can do at State. Their Top 4 are on the top, but from what I have been seeing is that their 5th guy is closing the gap from him and the 4th guy. That is what Coach Williams is trying to improve. Once they have that, you have no idea what Skyline can do.
ReplyDeletedeer valley took first place at the castro invitational today with manny rin leading the team with third place finish and the rest were 11,12,13,14...del campo in second and castro valley in third
ReplyDeleteNice result for Deer Valley. They have been running very well including a close dual meet loss (26-29) to DLS.
ReplyDeleteNCS Division I just keeps getting tougher and tougher.
Deer Valley looks to be packing nicely.
ReplyDeleteNCS should be a close race.
Who do u guys like for the monte vista deer valley matchup? Any news from the tri valley meet?
ReplyDeleteso it looks like monte vista had a strong race at the tri valley harrier...any new predictions between them and deer valley?
ReplyDeletealso, where was amador's #2 runner Garret Ward at the harrier classic?
My parents wouldn't let me run because of my grades, but I'll be back by EBAL Center Meet #2 at Monte Vista this wednesday.
ReplyDeleteAmador valley tempoed the harrier classic due to the upcomming meet on wednesday, but Garrett Ward is being rested until then.
ReplyDeletetempoed and still took second! great job Daut...what was the course like?
ReplyDeletethe course is fairly flat with a couple of short steep hills. Daut most definitely did not tempo though i doubt he tried 100%
ReplyDeleteso why arent amador and monte vista goig to mariner??
ReplyDeletemontevista is going to Mt.Sac
ReplyDeleteour team is not racing anymore meets before EBAL finals. would of been fun though.
Albert-
ReplyDeleteFor the girls individual rankings for NorCal, after reviewing the Mt. Sac times, league and other invites this season so far, I think you should switch the girl's back to your NorCal #4 with 1. Laurynne; 2. Jacque; 3. Nicole; 4. Sarah and move Diana George to #5. All these girls have been running consistantly well.
