That puts Kingery as the only one faster, and maybe Guisto’s 84 National title as a bigger win. Maybe switch the two, Dal Canto also should also be in contention to be up there as the wild card. Both 10th graders. Great races all around! I wouldn't put too much weight on those times similarly to WoodBridge unless the kids ran head to head which makes more sense and that's what Caruana did here. Again, these are just rankings, they don't mean anything but it's a good guide for what to look for in the future races, especially in November.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-10758701170900504692017-10-17T08:49:00.017-07:002017-10-17T08:49:00.017-07:00I believe it got warmer.I believe it got warmer.Albert Caruanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14434646351717864405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-34858511461269837632017-10-17T08:48:00.333-07:002017-10-17T08:48:00.333-07:00@9:39 what is the impact of the 2-hours between th...@9:39 what is the impact of the 2-hours between the champ and Div3 races? He has just been very under the radar.

I actually had Ryan Wilson in my original top 10, he was definitely in there as well. Same for MacQuiddy of Westmont. Ma's time is from the ridiculously fast Woodbridge Invite but nonetheless very impressive.

Renati and Medearis should be in the top 10 as well. Renati has been very impressive so far this season. Medearis ran 9:21.22 last spring in 3200 and as noted, won the Rough Rider after a very sporadic week of training.Albert Caruanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14434646351717864405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-56664615130776252922017-10-16T19:03:28.397-07:002017-10-16T19:03:28.397-07:00Id also add Ryan Wilson to the mix.

His 14:31 at Montgomery Hill alone converts to 15:17 at Crystal. Qualifying to 1600 final in track may not apply to XC, but there are zero signs he's slowed so it's should count for something. Renati ran 15:35 at Woodward losing in a sprint to MacKenzie (also ranked ahead). Medearis ran 15:55 easily winning Roughrider at Woodward Park. I think those performances are superior to the Woodbridge & Crystal Springs marks you mentioned. Though I do think Estrella will be top 10 by the end of the year but has been out with injury and just hasn't run on a known course lately.
