Well, the 4x800 has definitely arrived. Both races at CCS Finals were fantastic competitive efforts by all involved, and the numbers bear that out: on the boys side, 4 of the top 9, 5 of the top 11, and 6 of the top 14 all-time marks were achieved in that race, and on the girls side it was 3 of the top 6 all time marks!! Carlmont and Bellarmine can (I guess) take some satisfaction from the fact that they both would have won every other section final in the State except the Southern, and they (we) would have been 5th and 6th in that race! I have compiled a 'top 100' list over the years, and while it is not official, nor does it take into account the yards to meters conversion, it is still a pretty cool look into the history of this amazing event in the CCS...I have sent it to Albert to post it here if he wants to...enjoy!
