Campolindo was very impressive at Stanford moving up to #5 on the Norcal list. Same for St. Francis, Sacramento to move up to 6th.

Gunn and Castro Valley ran well at the Ram to finish 1st and 2nd.
Results are here: Ram Results

At Central Park, it appears Gunn was "pack running" as well so I wouldn't give that race too much weight.

Los Gatos ran at Jim Danner this weekend. You can find their results on their website:
Los Gatos Website

Thank you very much for your questions. View did a "pack run" letting their #7 girl set the pace and still finished far ahead of Gunn:
http://www.dyestatcal.com/ATHLETICS/XC/2007/scvalres.htm

Also, are Los Gatos varsity girls even running anymore? I haven't seen a result from them since the Early Bird.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-37872106957064453802007-10-01T15:45:00.000-07:002007-10-01T15:45:00.000-07:00Woodcreek and Petaluma are doing great right now a...Woodcreek and Petaluma are doing great right now and are going to give the socal guys a run for their money come stateAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-56620152714666523632007-09-30T22:02:00.000-07:002007-09-30T22:02:00.000-07:00Skyline ARE for real. And the way Coach Chris Williams is coach them boys, I'm not surprised if the 5th boy is right behind the 4th. Skyline is going to dominate Norcal. So watch out for them when they blow people's mind with their amazing performance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-16666333719097047132007-09-30T21:31:00.000-07:002007-09-30T21:31:00.000-07:00Peter, thank you for chiming in with the rankings....Peter, thank you for chiming in with the rankings. I noticed you had a couple of runners missing from the Varsity race at the Ram.

As I mentioned with the Tim Hunter in his interview, the NCS Division I field is incredibly deep this year. Your boys are just one of 8 teams that will by vying for those 2 qualifying spots at Hayward. It should be the best race in NCS this year.

Skyline moved up from 10th to their current position. They continue to prove themselves worthy of their ranking on different courses. Their front four can run with anybody in Northern California. If their 5th man inches closer to that group, watch out SS!Albert Caruanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14434646351717864405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-75043144090686197222007-09-30T19:57:00.000-07:002007-09-30T19:57:00.000-07:00Albert: Castro Valley's girls team was missing tw...Albert: Castro Valley's girls team was missing two of the top 5 runners yesterday at RAM due to illness and a broken arm (the broken arm won the Ram GJV race instead). Still, nothing to take away from Gunn who was missing a girl as well. Ernie seems to have them humming right along now.

Also, our boys' team should be able to unveil our full lineup when we finally add our hotshot frosh boy (BFrosh winner at Ram) to the varsity mix at Artichoke. Maybe we can make a notch or two up the ladder.

The Skyline boys are for real, and Coach Chris is definitely developing some backup for his fab four. It is only a matter of time.

Peter Brewer
Castro ValleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-15187510256899601632007-09-30T18:31:00.000-07:002007-09-30T18:31:00.000-07:00Davis did not run well yesterday but when you look...Davis did not run well yesterday but when you look at their season success, they still belong in the top 10.Albert Caruanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14434646351717864405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31292861.post-29802937076132762702007-09-30T18:17:00.000-07:002007-09-30T18:17:00.000-07:00did Davis Sr. have a bad race at stanford? or is t...did Davis Sr. have a bad race at stanford? or is that their normal team, because if it is i don't think they should be on the top ten - they should be in the honorable mentions.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
